Over the past 45 days, Anthropic has barely stopped moving.
Fable 5 and Mythos 5 landed simultaneously, Sonnet 5 dropped in price to grab market share, and Claude Code has been getting near-daily updates.
Yesterday Cowork just finished an iteration, and today Anthropic dropped six major updates at once on its hosted agent platform (CMA):
Skill limit raised from 20 to 500: One session can now hold an entire enterprise knowledge base.
Five-tier thinking effort control: Simple routing saves tokens, deep reasoning goes all out.
One-step seed session creation: Bring up to 50 initial events directly — cold start latency drops to zero.
Sub-agent real-time streaming down to thread level: See exactly where each sub-agent is running and what it’s thinking in real time.
7 new webhooks covering the full lifecycle of environments and memory storage: Polling is finally obsolete.
Agent version field becomes optional: Single-flow scenarios no longer need version management overhead.
