You probably have a similar browser experience - when you've opened a tab before but forgot to bookmark it, and the next time you want to find it, you can only spend ages digging through your browsing history and still might not find it.
A few days ago, when we introduced the Google AI product suite guide, the browser Chrome was excluded.
On one hand, this is a traditional, well-established browser that almost everyone has installed on their computer; on the other hand, the browser itself seems to have no AI features. For the scenario of finding tabs, apart from relying on third-party extensions, we can only dig through browsing history.
But now, Chrome has undergone its biggest upgrade since its 2008 launch. For tabs you can't find, just click the little Gemini icon in the top right corner, and one sentence can solve it. Whether you like it or not, it's now an AI browser too.
