Google has announced its largest acquisition ever, aimed at acquiring Wiz.

After a $23 billion offer was rejected in 2024, Google has now raised the price to $32 billion, including a $3.2 billion breakup fee (to be paid to Wiz if the deal falls through).

This time, Wiz has finally agreed.

This acquisition not only marks Google's largest to date but also surpasses its 2012 acquisition of Motorola Mobility for $12.5 billion, setting a new record in Google's history of mergers and acquisitions.
