Post-00s, AI Cheating, Securing Big Tech Offers, Expelled from School... When these keywords converge on a single student, many might think their career prospects are doomed. But in this era of AI explosion, many stories that seem to have reached their end are, in fact, just beginning.

Not long ago, we reported on a 21-year-old Columbia University student, Chungin Lee (Roy Lee), who created an AI tool called Interview Coder. With it, he secured offers from major tech companies like Amazon, Meta, and TikTok, only to be expelled from school for allegedly “using AI to cheat in technical interviews.”

Now, less than a month after the school’s decision, Chungin Lee is back in the public eye—this time, with $5.3 million in funding to bring this “do-almost-anything-for-you” AI tool to market.

This dramatic turn of events has sparked curiosity: Is this really legit? Will the market actually accept such a tool? Let’s dive in!
