This hype wave is quietly starting to fade. But have those who’ve actually used OpenClaw noticed something? OpenClaw does not support the MCP protocol.

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) was launched by Anthropic in November 2024. After its release, MCP quickly gained widespread attention in the developer and AI communities and was seen as the emerging standard protocol for communication and interaction with large models.
