NVIDIA Makes History

On October 29th, U.S. time, NVIDIA became the first company in history to surpass a market value of $5 trillion. As of the local market close, NVIDIA’s total market capitalization stood at $5.03 trillion.

According to media analysis, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang has signaled strong AI demand.

And now, the other major player in the AI wave is making big moves too.

Just now, according to Reuters, citing three sources familiar with the matter, OpenAI is preparing for an IPO. If successful, OpenAI is expected to become the first tech company to achieve a trillion-dollar valuation at IPO.

Here’s the timeline: earliest submission for listing in the second half of 2026, plans to raise at least $60 billion (actual amount may be higher), and OpenAI’s Chief Financial Officer, Sarah Friar, has already informed colleagues—the target is 2027 for going public.
