OpenAI’s Strategic Shift: Further Betting on the Enterprise Market

Throughout 2025, OpenAI’s most notable moves were mostly concentrated on consumer products, including the GPT-5 series models, Sora 2, and the ChatGPT Atlas browser. Later this year, OpenAI is expected to launch an AI hardware device designed with participation from former Apple design chief Jony Ive, which is rumored to potentially be a wearable device.
