During the GTC 2025 conference, NVIDIA hosted its first Quantum Day, exploring the current developments, practical applications, technical challenges, and future trends in quantum computing.
On March 20, local time, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, serving as the host, organized a roundtable discussion titled "Quantum Computing: Where We Are and Where We're Heading." The event brought together representatives from 12 global quantum computing companies, as well as tech giants like Microsoft and Amazon.
At the same time, Huang announced that NVIDIA would establish a quantum computing research laboratory in Boston, USA, collaborating with scientists from Harvard University and MIT to advance quantum computing research.
