2025 has come to an end.

This year, I pushed Claude Code to its limits, consuming billions of tokens and refactoring tens of thousands of lines of code.

If I had to summarize one core principle, it’s just three words:

Let it go.

While everyone else was adding to AI—frantically piling on prompts, cramming in documentation, and loading plugins—I chose to subtract.

Because I discovered that using Claude Code well isn’t about how much you give the AI. It’s about how much you refuse to give it.

Part 1: Break

CLAUDE.md is the soul of a project, but 99% of people turn it into a garbage dump.

The most absurd example I’ve seen had over 3,000 words, stacking various fancy, mystical prompts, then dumping in API documentation, framework explanations, and business details all at once.
