Today, xAI, the large model unicorn under Musk’s banner, announced the launch of an encyclopedia website called Grokipedia, where each entry has been “fact-checked” by Grok. This website was previously crowned by Musk as a “Wikipedia alternative,” and this time, he went further by posting: “Even version 0.1 is better than Wikipedia.”
Musk also claimed that Grokipedia.com is completely open source and anyone can use it freely for anything. However, no related open-source information can be found on Musk’s X platform account, xAI’s multiple official information channels, or on Grokipedia itself.
