Google co-founder and the world’s seventh-richest person, Larry Page, has established an AI startup.

According to The Information, Page founded a startup named Dynatomics this Thursday, aiming to disrupt the manufacturing industry with artificial intelligence.

Two insiders revealed that Page and a small group of engineers are exploring how to use large language models (LLM) to create highly optimized designs for various objects, and then have factories manufacture them.

Page and his colleagues aren’t the only ones exploring the use of AI to enhance industrial manufacturing. There are already several projects employing AI to discover materials, simulate industrial processes, and conduct anomaly detection.
