Just now, Kling 2.1 officially launched.
I got early access to the beta a few days ago and tested a bunch of cases. But if I had to pinpoint the biggest changes in Kling 2.1, I’d say the performance, speed, and pricing are all pretty impressive.
In Kling’s standard pricing system, 66 Inspiration Points equal 1 USD.
To be honest, the pricing for Kling 2.0 Master Edition was really steep.
A 5-second video costs 100 Inspiration Points, and a 10-second video costs 200 Inspiration Points. That’s roughly 1.5 USD for a 5-second video.
This pricing was basically in line with Kling 1.6 and Kling 2.0 Master Edition, but this time, you can feel they’re aiming for more refined tiering.
This release also marks a clear establishment of Kling’s three-tier quality system:
Standard Edition, High-Quality Edition, and Master Edition.
Standard Edition: 720P, decent motion, but super fast generation speed, costing 20 Inspiration Points per video.
High-Quality Edition: 1080P, excellent motion, normal generation speed, costing 35 Inspiration Points per video.
Master Edition: 1080P, top-notch motion effects, capable of cinematic quality, costing 100 Inspiration Points per video.
