Can Nvidia(NVDA 0.00%↑) Turn Robotics Into a Recurring-Revenue Computing Infrastructure Business?

On October 21, at its GTC event in Berlin, Germany, Nvidia announced an expansion of its Isaac robotics development platform, introducing new reference robot platforms, runtime environments, training frameworks, and simulation workflows.

At the same time, Agile Robots released a humanoid robot reference platform based on Nvidia Isaac GR00T and Jetson Thor technology, and several European industrial robotics companies are also advancing related technology integration.

By October 22, Physical AI remained an important direction in Nvidia’s public showcases.

Taken together, these moves show that Nvidia is extending the computing power, software tools, and developer ecosystem it built up in the generative AI era into robotics.
