From OpenAI and Anthropic to xAI, the giants seem to have coordinated: they stay up all night cramming for the exam and scramble for position. The holiday has not even officially started, and the atmosphere of a foundation-model showdown is already fully in place.
Just now, SpaceXAI officially released Grok 4.7.
The company positions it as the strongest current model for coding and knowledge work. The new model is already in Cursor, Grok Build, and the Grok API, and will also be available through third-party coding tools, model-routing platforms, and cloud services.
Grok 4.7 arrived much later than Musk’s original teaser. Hype began in late July, then became “wait a few more weeks,” then “within ten days,” then “the model still needs more tuning”…
