Figma with #Designstart: What is Pencil and how to use Pencil in Figma #figma #figmatutorial #pencil

When Pencil first blew up, I’ll admit I rolled my eyes.

Another tool claiming to “reinvent design”? I’ve heard that line so many times my ears could bleed.

Then I spent 30 minutes with it. I take it all back.

Pencil is genuinely wild. Infinite canvas, Figma-style interaction logic executed flawlessly, seamless design-to-code workflow—it’s the kind of product that makes you instinctively mutter “where have you been all this time?”

You Don’t Need to Buy Claude

In most mainstream tutorials, influencers push the same narrative: if you want to use Pencil, you must subscribe to Claude Code’s official plan, use /login, forget about using your own API, and definitely forget about proxies.

If you believe that, you’re literally feeding their affiliate KPIs.
