The AI That Built Itself In 10 Days Now Wants Access To Your Desktop

Anthropic, the company that’s been turning Silicon Valley on its head, has just dropped another bombshell.

Recent sources reveal that Anthropic is rolling out a major upgrade to Claude Cowork: injecting knowledge bases with permanent memory!

This means Claude will no longer have goldfish memory. In its “persistent brain,” it will begin automatically remembering everything.

From now on, Claude will transcend being just a chatbot. This permanent memory mode in Cowork will completely revolutionize AI-powered office work!

Additionally, Cowork mode will merge with Chat mode and become the default user interface for Claude Desktop.

Overall, this leaked Anthropic internal instruction document contains massive amounts of information, including other significant upgrades:

Knowledge Bases

Claude Cowork becomes the main entry point

Unified UI + Artifacts sidebar

More powerful automation connectors (MCP)

Voice mode + Pixelate upgrades

Another famous Silicon Valley leaker, Tibor Blaho, has also revealed similar information.

Reddit users who are already using Cowork are eagerly pounding their desks: can’t wait! This feature will make ambient programming so much easier!

If all these features successfully launch, Claude will evolve into a true productivity partner—capable of long-term collaboration, task execution, and remembering everything about you!

An insider revealed that their company is also developing a similar context engine internally, speculating that Anthropic’s ultimate goal with this move is to reduce token consumption.

Indeed, Anthropic is leading the charge across Silicon Valley.
