To be honest, I used to think Claude Code + VS Code was the “first-class” combo, and JetBrains users were just left staring. Last week I opened a company project in IDEA, casually installed the official JetBrains plugin, and realized this thing is no longer a second-class citizen: diffs show up directly in IDEA’s diff view, selected code automatically becomes context, and it can even read the red squiggles in the IDE.
