Claude Code’s default interface is simple, but Mods let you customize it to an absurd degree.
Use virtualText for hidden hints, use the $ syntax to control styling on different lines, and even change colors dynamically based on session state.
It’s not an advanced feature, but once you start using it, there’s no going back.
