Claude Code has finally learned how to use AI to “perform its work.” It no longer just buries itself in writing code—it can now display the results of its work in real time on a web page for everyone to see.

Today, Anthropic announced that Claude Code now supports the Artifacts feature.

Artifacts were first introduced in 2024 on the Claude web version, primarily for displaying code and web content. Now, this capability has been brought into Claude Code, targeting developers’ real-world workflows.

Rather than simply helping developers write code, Anthropic aims to solve the problem of information sharing in team collaboration. With Artifacts, Claude Code can turn code changes, troubleshooting sessions, or data analysis processes into real-time updating web pages—such as PR breakdowns, incident timelines, and data dashboards—making it easy to centrally display and share information.
