How I Create Simple But Beautiful Reusable Claude Code Slash Commands (That Save Me Hours) | by Joe Njenga | Medium

Claude Code is updating really fast—just now, slash commands have been officially merged into Skills.

The official announcement states that users don’t need to perform any migration operations, and existing workflows will remain completely unaffected.

After the merge, users can now use the familiar / slash command syntax to invoke any Skill. Correspondingly, all existing slash commands can now also be called by Claude Code as Skills.

In addition, this integration brings a seamless combination between Skills and Subagents.
