Claude Code has just rolled out a brand-new feature: Remote Control. OpenClaw users have already been enjoying this capability for a while, and honestly, once you try the workflow of “start a task on your computer, then monitor and control it from your phone,” it’s genuinely addictive.
Now, you can launch a coding task on your computer terminal, then pick up your phone and go for a walk or attend a meeting, taking over and checking progress anytime, anywhere. During this time, Claude continues running entirely on your local machine, while you can directly manage the entire session through the Claude App or the claude.ai/code web interface.
This feature is currently available as a research preview for Max plan users, and it will soon be rolled out to Pro users. Just type claude rc in the terminal to get started quickly.
