It’s not the long-awaited o3 Pro, nor a new model stealing the show.
Just now, OpenAI released two new ChatGPT features: Connectors and Record Mode, with the focus on making ChatGPT seamlessly integrate into enterprise workflows and daily operations:

  • Connectors: Combined with deep research capabilities, ChatGPT can connect to various company tools and file repositories, allowing you to search for information, analyze data, or compile proposals with just a single sentence.

  • Record Mode: Click a button during a meeting, and ChatGPT will automatically record, take notes, summarize key points, and generate meeting minutes right after the session ends.

ChatGPT is no longer just a conversational AI; it’s poised to become a “second brain” for many workers, actively participating in various aspects of workplace collaboration.

Enterprise Knowledge, Ready to Use

Enterprises have knowledge, and ChatGPT needs to have the capability to tap into it. OpenAI’s vision is to enable ChatGPT to integrate with internal enterprise knowledge systems.

With its deep research functionality, the newly launched Connectors feature can integrate with commonly used enterprise platforms like GitHub, Google Drive, SharePoint, Teams, Dropbox, and Outlook, achieving seamless connectivity. Users can initiate cross-system data queries with a single sentence, such as finding potential partners, filtering high-intent clients, identifying sales opportunities, or analyzing user feedback. All of this can be completed in minutes, with results organized into clear, actionable recommendations.
