Following Claude Code Being “Explored Beyond Limits” by Users, Claude Officially Launches Cowork, Extending Its Powerful Agent Capabilities to All Non-Programming Tasks.

After the code tool Claude Code was used by users in creative and unexpected ways, Claude has officially launched Cowork, extending its powerful Agent capabilities to all non-programming work.

This new product aims to enable any user—not just developers—to collaborate with Claude in the same way as with Claude Code. Cowork is currently available as a research preview to Claude Max subscribers on the macOS app.

Premium Claude Max subscribers can now try it by downloading the macOS app and clicking “Cowork” in the sidebar. Users on other plans can join a waitlist for future access.
