DeepSeek-R1 now available as a fully managed LLM model in Amazon Bedrock

Bringing large models to life with a focus on extreme practicality.

The new wave of AI technology, led by DeepSeek, is just beginning to surge, and intense competition on the application side is already underway.

Due to frequent server congestion and throttling issues on official platforms, MaaS (Model as a Service) offerings from various cloud providers are addressing the urgent needs of developers.

Since February, major cloud technology companies have rolled out full-featured versions of DeepSeek V3 and R1 models. These companies are not only competing in computational power but also in providing more convenient deployment solutions (from APIs to application development capabilities), and even engaging in price wars.

On March 11, Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced that DeepSeek-R1 is now available as a fully managed serverless model, making it the first international cloud service provider to offer DeepSeek-R1 in a fully managed, general-purpose model format.
