Agent Skills for Local Project Knowledge Management
Transform project chaos into structured knowledge with Agent Skills. Build automated, self updating documentation that eliminates context bloat and keeps AI grounded in facts.
Skills can be very simple.
As simple as just one Prompt, for example, to standardize the format of Git commits.
They can also be extremely complex.
Complex to the extent of containing multiple scripts, nested calls to another MCP, and combining several SubAgents to achieve fully automated full-stack development.
Precisely because the barrier to entry is so low, the market is now flooded with countless Skills. But when you actually use them, only a small number are truly high-frequency and core.
Among them, the ones I use most frequently and find most valuable are still knowledge-base-style Skills.
The greatest value of this type of knowledge-base Skill is that it solidifies the paths you’ve walked and the pitfalls you’ve stepped into as summarized experience, allowing you to stand directly on the shoulders of giants. Many large companies are currently doing similar things.
